 Excellent and exceptional October 29, 2008
I'm used to reading Seressia Glass's more sensual romances like NO COMMITMENT REQUIRED or her story in the WHAT WHITE BOYZ WANT anthology. I've never read her paranormal stories in the VEGAS BITES anthologies, so I didn't think she would do as great of a job writing a romantic suspense as she is in a contemporary romance. I'm so glad she proved me wrong!
DREAM OF SHADOWS is engaging, engrossing, sensual, suspenseful and a well-written novel. I don't care what the races of the hero and heroine are because I was so drawn in to the story. I couldn't put it down. From the very opening with the first dream Nicole has I was hooked. And I understood where Jax was coming from when he didn't believe her at first. Who would? Seressia handled the romance and mystery within the story so well that by the end, I was hoping she had sequels in the works for Nicole's sisters, Malita and Mala.
If you're a fan of the hit TV show "Heroes", you'll love this book! You will not be disappointed.

Nicole Legere was born with extraordinary gifts, but Its not shocking, however, because it runs in her family. Her mother is The Keeper, which means she has had this gift passed down to her from her ancestors and it is up to her to keep it on track. In DREAM OF SHADOWS, Nicole begins to dream of murders before they happen. Her conscience won't let her just ignore her dreams so she goes to Detective Carter Jackson to give him all the information she has from her dreams, hoping that he can glean enough to prevent the murder. Unfortunately, it doesn't happen that way and when the murder actually occurs, Nicole is the suspect. Nicole continues to have dreams and each time, the dream comes true.
Seressia Glass has penned an exciting combination murder mystery and romance that is heavily into the paranormal. It caught my interest from page one and kept it until the very end. It was smoothly written and an easy, scary, fun read.

I enjoyed this book, not her best. I could not work out if the guy was white or what? Cover misleading, if you are an interracial fan

I'm giving this book two stars not because it was written poorly but because it's not what I expected. The book was really well written and I loved the characters and the story totally kept me interested. But I purchased it thinking it was an IR story and it isn't. I just hate purchasing something and it's not what I requested or what I was lead to believe it was.
