Pricey but works like other external hard driveOctober 3, 2008 It fits so well in my new HP workstation. They were designed to work together well. It is about $60 more expensive than other brands of hard drive. I can't say it's worth the extra $60 but I didn't want another external peripheral laying out there.
AWESOME PERFORMANCE!August 25, 2008 to date this is the most reliable, easy to use, and fast HDD i ever had. It just came to my home, i opened the package, took out the unit, and inserted into it's corresponding slot(the HP media drive bay) and voila!!! everything is running how it was spected! I highly recomend this one!
HP Personal Media Drive 750August 25, 2008 The drive unfortunately did not work in the slot of the new computer I purchased it for. This was very disappointing to me, as that is the reason I purchased it. I went ahead and hooked it up externally and it works ok, OUTSIDE the drive. Had it worked in the computer slot, I would say it was perfect.
WOWAugust 15, 2008 What can I say but WOW. This thing has a ton of storage room and works perfectly with the HP Pavilion that has the docking bay. I use it for data back up and it works sooooo much better than backing up on disks. Once the back up is done it can be easily removed and stored in a safe location. (fire safe) The drive can also be used externally with a USB cable if you computer does not have a docking bay. (I have not used it this way, but the product works so good I would be willing to bet it is just as good this way) This is a great product and I am extremely happy I bought it. This is a must have item if you own an HP Pavilion.
this harddisk works like a charmJuly 13, 2008 the installation was a snap. i do not hear much noise mentioned in other reviews. it is more costly but seamless integration is worth the bucks.
