Drycleaner Recommended !September 7, 2008 Rowenta user for years, unfortunately a friends daughter dropped my Rowenta onto the tile floor in the laundry room while visiting, no hope in resureccting. I was lamenting my loss to my drycleaners and she recommended the B&W D2030, brought it up from the back of the shop to show me. Trusting her as she is not just a counter person, she and her family have owned this DC for over 20 yrs in the same shopping center, I visited several B&M's to no avail (only because I could not imagine not having an iron in the house for even one minute). Gave up my search and came home to see if possibly Amazon had it in stock, and luckily they did. I have Prime so upped the shipping to next day for the minimal cost and am so thrilled that I did. This iron is lighter than the Rowenta, produces a lot of steam, the water markings are easy to read, the touch button and digital read out stating what the level of heat is used for is excellent. My garmets are pressed nicely and quickly using this iron. Highly recommend it.
Good IronSeptember 7, 2008 I bought this iron based on reviews I read. I like the iron. However, it sticks on some fabrics. It does not iron as well as the T-Fal I had but it is lower maintenance than the T-Fal. It has good steam output. Overall, I like the iron.
I Love my new B&D Iron!September 7, 2008 I have been using my new B&D iron for about a month and have no issues with it. The shot of steam is very strong and does a great job setting in creases on pants. The iron is big but I find it very easy to use - and there has not been any water spotting on my clothes. The cord is long to provide flexibility and the auto-off feature is great if you get interrupted. I'm as happy as you can be for ironing day.
So far so goodSeptember 7, 2008 I read a lot of reviews before I bought this iron. My Euro-pro iron with a separate tank quit emitting steam so I looked for a less expensive iron. This gives a great burst of steam and a lot of continuous steam. If you steam on "max" it will use a lot of water. I'm careful not to wrap the cord around the iron based on a couple of reviews that say this will cause a leak. I like the weight of it. Hopefully it will last more than the average two years that some reviewers reported is the case for most irons.
Clothes ironSeptember 7, 2008 This is the best iron I have ever used! It's extremely smooth and not too heavy. I am planning on getting one for my daughters for Christmas. Even my husband remarked how smooth it was to use. Enough said!
