This product really works!!!August 29, 2008 Before buying this product I was reading reviews on Amazon. I almost didn't buy it because of negative opinions. And I AM SO GLAD I DID BUY IT!!! This product really works! Our Australian shepherd was shedding everywhere like crazy - she hardly does it after we started using Furminator. Just in two trimmings her entire undercoat was brushed away - and that was the main reason of why she shed in the summer time. And the price was not too bad (much cheaper at Amazon than at any retail store). I would really recommend it to everybody who has a dog or a cat!
Easy and effectiveAugust 29, 2008 I've tried all kinds of gooming brushes and combs for my dog and cats. This is the first product that really worked and was easy. In half the time I was able to remove tons of loose hair. And, the animals loved it besides looking great!
Excellent de-shedding tool!August 29, 2008 We purchased the FURminator after talking with a friend about it and are very happy with it. It is amazing how it lifts the undercoat away - and how much comes out every time! Maybe I don't have the process down yet, but I have had to use it several times in the last month - unlike the description that says it stops shedding for months. But, all in all we are very pleased with it and would recommend it to others.
I love the Furminator!!!!August 29, 2008 My boyfriend has a large hairy Siberian Husky. Since moving in together, I've been going crazy over how much hair the dog sheds. I love the dog but her hair drove me crazy. Hair flies off her body when she's walking... Then a friend recommended the Furminator. My boyfriend was skeptical that it actually works better than the old brush his had forever. So we did a comparison brush with the his brush and my new Furminator. That's the last time he brought up the topic. As I pulled the lump of hair off of the Furminator, he tossed his brush in the trash...
It really works!!!August 29, 2008 I had heard some great things about the Furminator, but was reluctant to buy one because they are a little expensive for a "brush". I finally gave in and got one, and WOW, it works great! It's amazing how much undercoat came out of my cat when I used this thing compared to a regular flea comb. The cat loved being brushed gently with it. I'd recommend this product for anyone with a pet that has an undercoat.
