The Houston Chronicle is the largest daily newspaper in Houston, Texas, and the 10th largest in the United States. Because of its quality reporting, several of the Chronicle's writers have been nominated for the coveted Pulitzer Prize for journalism, including Dudley Althaus and Tony Freemantle.
The Kindle Edition of Houston Chronicle contains articles found in the print edition, but will not include some images and tables. Also, some features such as the crossword puzzle, box scores and classifieds are not currently available. For your convenience, issues are automatically delivered wirelessly to your Kindle so you can read them each morning.
DisappointedNovember 8, 2008 I am a new Kindle owner and so far love it. i am very disappointed in the Chron. it is missing a lot of the content I want. where are the columnists? no gardening or religion on Saturday? No Obits? When The Chron ups the content I will subscribe until then I will continue to read it conventially on paper or on line. very disappointing.

Houston Chronicle Sports Section lackingAugust 24, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
The Sports Section is lacking in content. I always scan box scores and standings. Both are missing on the Kindle version of the Houston Chronicle.
Needs more contentAugust 9, 2008 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
I signed up for the Houston Chronicle but cancelled within the first 14 days due to a general lack of content. To me it felt like we were getting less than half the paper. I wanted to read the tech columns etc. but during my brief subscription I did not see Silverman's column included in the Kindle version nor did I see national syndicated columns. I may give them a month or two and try again because I like the idea of having a newpaper on my Kindle.
Yea for Houston!July 25, 2008 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
I've enjoyed the New York Times on Kindle, but I'm THRILLED that my hometown newspaper will be available.
The Chronicle has particularly fine sports writing and does a good job of covering Texas news.
