Great for priceOctober 9, 2008 I bought it for my regular needs of filters and they are great, I got them very quickly than expected but I have to say that the packaging wasn't good for this item.

Brita Water FiltersSeptember 23, 2008 The product is good, the price is also ok BUT........ when you add the shipping, its no better than retail. I've order them twice on Amazon but won't again unless Amazon lowers its price to be competitive after shipping with retail.
great waterSeptember 13, 2008 I bought these to suppliment the bottled water my son and I were going through(it's amazing how much water a 17 yr old boy drinks even when he takes a couple of sips and opens another bottle because he forgot he had one open). Our water is hard and sometimes has a smell and since I've been going through cancer treatment I've been trying to be a little more concious of things like this. I've had these pitchers before, but something happened to it and I'm glad I eventually bought another. I recommend this highly if you have problems with your tap water, or if you have a well(which my paternal grandparents did on their farm). Much improved taste and believe me it's helped my costs on the bottled stuff.
filter does not work as goodSeptember 7, 2008 this filters filter my water but not as good as the original I got in my pitcher. Seems like it uses a different material inside to make the job. My water taste still a little bad after filtering... I will try another kind next time and will not buy this one again. I wish theire was a way to know if it was an imitation of the original filters before buy this. Do not waster your money on this ones...
