Product Description This aluminum skillet has a high-quality Thermolon Endurance non-stick interior coating which is durable and highly scratch resistant. Thermolon-coated cookware releases 50% fewer greenhouse gases during production and contains no toxic substances that could be released at high temperatures. In contrast to conventional non-stick coatings, Thermolon is completely free of polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) and is manufactured without the use of perfluorooctanoic acid (PFOA). It is heat-resistant to 850F/450C. The aluminum pan has an extra-thick forged base for even browning and cooking, and is appropriate for use with induction cooktops. The skillet has a sleek, rounded shape with ergonomic riveted cast hollow stainless steel handles.

I was a little hesitant when I bought these pans, but they are wonderful! Nothing sticks to them and they are tough. I recommend them to everyone.
thumbs up for thermolon cookwareOctober 10, 2008 I was a bit apprehensive to purchase this cookware after reading some negative reviews, so I just ordered one skillet to try it out. We love it! If you are careful to use non metal utensils, and use just a bit of oil or water in your pan when cooking, you will have no problems with it. We have used this pan almost every day since we bought it two months ago and it is still in great shape. I'd highly recommend these pans.

I Purchased the "Green Pan" set from the Home Shopping Network several months back - it comes with this skillet, a large grilling skillet, 1 small and 1 large pot and 2 baking pans all for around $150 - and it's hands down my favorite set of cookware!
Although I've read several negative reviews about this set on HSN, I've had a very positive experince with them - nothing sticks to them (and I mean nothing!), so they can be cleaned in a matter of seconds, and they've held up perfectly so far.
My other non-stick pots & pans began to chip after a month or so - this hasn't happened yet with this set, even though I use them on a daily basis. I also like the lids for the pots and skillets - they are glass so you can see how things are looking without having to remove them and I think this set has a sylish look as well (in fact, the just recently came out with several new colors).
Overall, I would highly recommend the Green Pan bakeware/cookware set - when taking quality into account, it's a great value!
