Mamma Mia sound trackOctober 14, 2008 We have seen the stage and film version of the musical and now have the sound tracks of both. We listen to them all the time. Plus we were big ABBA fans in the 70's.
An experience of experiences....October 14, 2008 I went to see the movie with a dear friend of mine....waves of nostalgia washed over me as I heard those classic songs of ABBA's interpreted by a new "season" of performers amidst an intriguing, yet thoughtful, love story..... These new "covers" of the classics are strong and fun to listen to.... An excellent addition to any CD collection!
SO MUCH FUN!October 11, 2008 This soundtrack made me want to see the movie again, RIGHT AWAY! The music is fun and even if some of the actors aren't the best singers (how lame would it be if they had voice doubles), it's great! Great movie, great soundtrack!
CD reviewOctober 10, 2008 The CD of Mamma Mia, the movie music is a terrific product. The CD is flawless and in perfect condition. The music is great and makes me wish I had the movie to play right along with it! Anyone who loved the movie will love having this CD to play over and over again, only this time in the privacy of your own home, you can dance to it and sing along! It will bring back plenty of warm memories of the music from the group abba
WHERE ARE ALL THE TRACKS?October 8, 2008 One of my favorite numbers is missing from this soundtrack... namely Chiquitita! Also missing are the prologue and the musical numbers performed by the cast at the end of movie. The Broadway soundtrack has the prologue and Chiquitita, but not as famously performed by Baranski, Walters and Streep.
