I bought this thinking it was Kid Rock singing his own song and quickly found out it is not. Don't make the same mistake.

I AM AN "OLD" COUNTRY AND WESTERN FAN. I NORMALLY LISTEN TO THE "OLDIES" STATION. WHEN I HEARD THIS SONG, THE BEAT OF THE MUSIC FIRST CAUGHT MY ATTENTION, THEN THE TALENT OF KID ROCK AMAZED ME ONCE AGAIN. THE FIRST TIME WAS WITH CHERYL CROWE. HIS VOICE IS AWESOME. HE HAS SO MUCH TALENT, I WISH HE HAD DECIDED COUNTRY INSTEAD OF ROCK, BUT MY KIDS ARE GLAD HE CHOSE ROCK. I THINK HE WOULD HAVE BEEN A STAR NO MATTER WHICH HE CHOSE. JO - TEXAS

It's not a bad rendition of Kid Rock's song, but it just doesn't have the same sound/passion as Kid Rock. I really wish he would release this on Amazon, but Rhapsody has an exclusive deal with Kid Rock. What's worse, you have to buy the whole album to get this one song.

This is just a band doing its best Kid Rock imitation. They market it as a "Tribute". So many bands are sprouting up these days calling themselves tributes to other bands. Can't they write their own songs?

I enjoy the tune. Heard it once and found myself singing it the rest of the day.
