Best of its kindJuly 3, 2008 I'm a finish carpenter who ends up needing lots of little tools close at hand but who dislikes the bulky bags most carpenters wear. I've used the bucket boss brand which is very durable and well designed- except that it hangs on your neck which gives me posture problems. There is a cross-back bucket boss apron but it is of light weight construction. I've been using the throw-away light-weight white (CLC?) cross back 12 pocket apron which actually is pretty comfortable for me (Average build, 5'11") but tools wear through it pretty quick. The Ergodyne is light and very sturdy for the price. Pockets are a little larger than average. Hammer loops are strong and narrow side pockets fit a Stabilo torpedo level perfectly. After 5 months of almost always wearing it for 45 hr work week the only failure is some of the stitching at bottom edge of large chest pocket ( A little adhesive caulk does the trick :) ) So no five stars but would do 4 1/2 if I could. As for comfort- I cant get it to fit perfect but is more comfortable than the Bucket Boss. Not a lot of strap adjustment if you're a big guy. Will buy again.

The apron is durable & very well made. what I don't like is that it was designed for a shorter person than myself (6'2"). I wish I could adust the neck stap about 3-4" longer. That is my only complaint
