Good value, good resultsOctober 11, 2008 This is one of those items you think you'll remember to replace when you purchase your coffee maker and then, three years later, realize you're still using the original filter. Amazon makes purchase of the filters easy (you cannot find them readily in retail stores), and the replacement makes a great difference in the taste of your fresly-brewed coffee.

It does what it's supposed to do.September 28, 2008 As with most custom water filters, this one is expensive. Basically, it's the same marketing strategy as for printer cartridges. The printer is cheap; the ink will kill you.

The $64 price tag is for a total of 12 filters, which works out to a bit more than $5 each.
