I bought this as a cheaper alternative to the Sixaxis, as I'm sure others have. On all games it disconnects every couple of minutes and you have to reconnect manually. I contacted Dreamgear and they asked if I had wireless internet, cell phones, or cordless phones in my house. I thought they were joking! I challenge them to find ONE Playstation 3 owner that doesn't have at least one of these technologies in their house. I am currently waiting on more info from Dreamgear to see if they can solve this problem. I will update my review if they do, otherwise spend the extra for the Sixaxis. UPDATE: Dreamgear offered to repair or replace the controller if I ship it to them at my cost. Amazon has replaced it once already and I still have the same issues. I am returning it again to Amazon for a refund. Very disappointing.

Purchased this as a second controller for when guests are over. Much cheaper than others, works just as well, and the glow thing is cool! It can be turned off. I also like it as a 2nd controller because it uses 3 AAA batteries (I use Eneloop rechargeable) in case the Sony (via usb only) isn't charged. I give it 5 stars and the only negative may be that it just doesn't feel as solid as the Sony, but at the same time, it is built well enough to instill confidence that it will last through a lot of use.
