Great Building Block!! June 23, 2006 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I bought Reader Rabbit Preschool first and found that while my daughter (just turned 3) could easily play all the games, she could only play if I was assisting her. So, I set out to find a game that would help teach her how to use the mouse so that she could learn to play on her own. Low and behold, I bought the Reader Rabbit Toddler software. Great move on my part...lol. She loves the games and although they are below her level, they keep her entertained because she can do it all by herself. A little more time on this game and she will be able to master RR Preschool without my help too!!

I have bought 2 of their products and it was terrible, slow, sound is crapy, kids can't care less, just plain terrible, better grab a book a read yourself, to avoid
Excellent product May 6, 2006 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Software has both a Toddler and Baby Section. The Baby Section allows easier use of the mouse/keyboard to perform actions - a great way to introduce your child to the computer. Within a week my 2 year old son understood what was required to play the games. He can sit down and start and change games easily. He enjoys going back and playing the same games, many months later. Best part about this software is its ease of use and clear speaking. If you are looking for software for a toddler, this is the best buy.
Reader Rabbit Toddler April 1, 2006 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
My 2 1/2 yr old daughter loves the Reader Rabbit Toddler software. The plus side for me is that her Preschool teacher recommended it, because it's the same software program she uses in school. So she's familiar with it; now, I'm no longer concerned with her using my lap top any more. She actually shows my husband and I what to do. Plus, if she playing when Daddy comes home, he no longer gets the Huge greeting she would have normally given. Dad will as for a kiss and a hello and she'll tell him, No Dad! I'm playing. Truly a great purchase!
Easy to use February 27, 2006 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
With this software, toddlers only need to use the mouse to drag objects -- no clicking. Our son was able to play these games with only minimal assistance almost immediately. After playing them for a few days, he went back to some of our other games which require clicking and dragging, and he can now do those, too. I think seperating out the two tasks enabled him to learn one, which made it easy to add the other. We had been trying to teach him to click and drag for months, but he always preferred to let us do it. Also, he loves the songs.
