GREAT FAMILY GAMENovember 15, 2008 We have fun playing this game. However, with 3 of us, we need an expansion as I always stop my son from having the longest road and steal the reward and he's in his 20's!
fun gameNovember 10, 2008 My son and daughter play this game for hours and love it. One plus is that I don't hear them fight while playing, which is the opposite of games like monopoly were they fight all the time. A quite game that they like! [..]. Amazon had the best price that I found and with free delivery it was the way to go.
Stregic, fun if you're winningNovember 9, 2008 this game was really fun to play for a while, but it lost it's luster after a while. part of this I suppose is that I played with the same people most of the time. avoid playing with the same people over and over again, they will figure out your strategies and deny you resources you need. trading is a pain because no one wants to give up resources if they think you need them to win, this gets annoying sometimes. again, it was fun for me for a few months, I enjoyed the game and it's level of strategy, but what kills it for me is that you basically HAVE to trade to win. I much prefer theCarcassonne Game because there is no trading involved.
a great gameNovember 2, 2008 I bought this game as a gift for my 20 yr old brother. It's a big hit with the young, sci-fi crowd. He and his friends have enjoyed getting together and playing interesting, out of the ordinary board games, and this game fits the bill. You can purchase an expansion pack seperately so that more people can play, but the original game is good for 4 players.
