Somewhat UsefulOctober 29, 2008 0 out of 3 found this review helpful
The Wiimote is somewhat useful, except for Smash Brothers. Then it is a suitable handicap for professional and semi-pro players vs. casual players.
Industry Standard; ignore at your peril.October 16, 2008 The Nintendo Wii Remote (Wiimote) is the standard for this console. No known problems with the controller. And the buttons are exactly as you expect; you can get on with playing the game without being distracted by buttons that are marginally different.
The large rubber padding can be a nuisance; either when you have to change the batteries, or when you want to connect the rechargable batteries to the charger. (And how come the Nunchuck doesn't need any protection, in comparison.) But discard the protection at your peril; my son has already broken one without the rubber covering.
Awesome Remote.October 13, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I actually don't own a Wii -- I use this as a combination Bluetooth/IR remote for my OSX based home theater PC. It works wonders in that sense and provides a flexible, powerful controller for my system. Only problems now are with networked media playback software on the Mac. Also, it kind of eats batteries, so get a charger.
Wii remote controllerOctober 9, 2008 Hola!!! Gracias Amazon por acercarme este control. Con el puedo disfrutar a pleno las bondades de la consola Wii y jugar con mis hijos y amigos. Es el complemento que me faltaba para jugar de a dos. Gracias de nuevo!!!
